Travel Signup for Pendleton Round-Up

This form is to sign up for the overnight road trip to Pendleton for the Pendleton Round-Up.

NOTES:

  1. Please send a SEPARATE FORM for each participant.
  2. Please sign up as soon as possible; would appreciate signups on or before July 21, 2010.

The Pendleton-Round Up has been held during the second week of September since 1910, which means that GAL's first visit to the Round-Up will help celebrate its 100th anniversary. The event brings over 50,000 people to Pendleton each year, and I'd guess that the century crowd will be larger than ever. Our hotel is located near downtown Pendleton, with many places to visit that are all walkable. Pendleton was once a wild frontier town where anything could happen and often did. Indians, explorers, cowboys, settlers, immigrants. They all have a story to tell about their time in Pendleton. Yippee-ki-yi-yay!

IF YOU PLAN TO DRIVE TO PUYALLUP ON YOUR OWN, please sign up below to reserve your hotel room. If you are entirely self-sufficient (driving yourself, don't need hotel room) sign up anyway using appropriate options so that we know to expect you.

Family Members

Family members who are working as roadies (banner, flags, water, etc) are absolutely welcome. Family members who will NOT be working are also welcome to travel on the coach with us as long it doesn't overflow us into an extra motorcoach. Just sign up below!

Approximate Itinerary

Itinerary may still mutate, but here's what we're thinking. WE HAVE TWO NEW DEPARTURE AREAS for band pickup on Friday Sept 10. Westside Pickup will be at SW Bible Church in Beaverton; Eastside Pickup will be at Furniture Connexion (I-84 & 181st Ave). Westside departure at 8 AM, Eastside departure at 8:30 AM. We'll expect to arrive in Pendleton around 12:45 PM after a 30 minute rest & coffee stop in The Dalles. Rest of Friday is available for you to enjoy as you wish. The Dress-Up Parade steps off at 9 AM on Saturday Sept 11. We anticipate a standstill performance after lunch. Departure from Pendleton at around 3:00 PM, arriving back in Portland at 7:45-8:15 PM.
